Outreach
Imagine living with a physical or mental disability. Imagine a life as a single parent, who is stretched thin trying to find the resources to help care for your children. Or maybe you are a person who wants to learn how to build wealth or purchase business assets. Perhaps you represent a community organization that has planned to reach a certain population but was not been successful due to social barriers. Or you’re houseless, looking for help. Often, the folks with the highest need do not know where to go for special services. They are denied help and they don’t continue to seek out other options. As a result, they fall through the cracks of the government’s support system. Our outreach endeavors, coordinating the necessary tools, make these services as accessible as possible, for as great a community as possible. In turn, this also benefits the agencies and organizations that provide these services, ensuring that they reach their mission goals and responsibilities.
We primarily provide outreach to communities of color to develop, organize, and implement events that benefit their local community. In particular, we accomplish outreach to members of communities that are underserved or disenfranchised. As outreach workers in this capacity, we promote programs concerning education, financial coaching, family issues, and other present community needs.
